Smile Selene Bronze Paint

Hi guys,

I have to paint my Rapide S Hood, my color is Slence Bronze. Does anyone know where I can get the original paint? or what is the closest color to Slence Bronze.

Thank you guys so much!

Not sure where they put it on the Rapide, but two places to check.

On a Vantage it is in the DVD compartment.

On a DB9 it is under the hood, beneath the front plastic panel on the cross bar.

Once you get the paint code any automotive paint shop should be able to get you the paint

Are you going to paint it yourself? That's the only reason I can think of for buying your own paint.

19 and a Rapide owner? I want in that business LOL. AM lists thier colors and paint shops should be able to tell or find the code. You said paint yourself, so I assume you are a painter and have the proper booth etc...... If not, I wouldn't try it. But, if your asking for this info, it seems that you may not be a professional painter or you would know. Just some thoughts to mull over.

You don't want to buy paint to supply to a painter unless you know about paint systems. You also don't want to have any body work done through a dealer. They usually subcontract the work with an incredible upcharge. Find a few body shops with a good reputation in your area and get quotes.

The paint cost is nothing when it comes to painting an Aston Martin. Is it just the hood that needs painting or front bumper too? The high quotes are mostly labor at a high cost per hour. My local AM certified paint shop charges more to work on AM than Porsche/MB/Audi...

Yea...you don't buy the materials for the painter. Take it to the painter and tell him to match it.
