That’s crazy. Under 90k for v12vs?!? That’s so much car for the money. Lot of them hitting the market now, my local dealer picked up 5 from auction off lease return since the authorized dealers get first crack at them. Will see if this manual option I’m working on falls through, then might look aggressively for a v12vs.

 

Was looking at the car sites and there's plenty of V12 Vantages under 100k. Seems like the best sports car deal out there if you looking at that price point!

 

The question is will they drop to $60k in a few years?

Saw that this morning! Going to watch the bidding - curious where it will land. With condition/mileage, can't see it going much higher than mid 80k, but I could be wrong. We'll see!

 

 

Drop like a rock means don't buy brand new and you benefit. The 'used' 2017 V12S's are new, but dealers can't discount unless they make them 'used'. The drop like a rock problem also seems to be the AMG GT's of which the new Vantage is much based upon - there are 767 of them for sale right now on Cars.com - there are 197 new Vantages. Interesting.

 

I've seen the prices for 2015 V12VSs range from the mid-80s to over 120. What do you think is a good price for a sub 10k miles clean 2015 example? I can't imagine sub 10k mile cars are trading at auctions for less than 90k. Does anyone have any data on this?

 

The red Vantage at Beverly Hills Aston Martin is a good indicator - it's now down to $96K, less than 5,000 miles with the B & O stereo. I think if you look at Car Guru and the cars been on the market a while and with the glut of lease returns now is a great time to negotiate a good V12S. Look for one that has not been tracked, damaged, or abused. The one in Florida is less than $90K but has an accident history.

I'll bet they bite - Yellow will be harder for them to move - also a nice car. I'm trying to get a 2017 but won't take a bath on my 2015, so not sure I can pull it off.

 

how much they offer for your 2015? Why do you want a 2017? Arent 2017 still close to 200?

 

Most of the 2017's are new but are advertised as used to discount them. I'm lucky that I have a non abused zero issues and perfect 13,100 mile V12S. However, Black Onyx with a Black interior is the last color I'd choose. You drive it then spend time cleaning it. I'd drive it a ton more if it was a color that does not get ugly just collecting road dust. Looks great if clean - not so much if not. My 2 year extended warranty is up in July, then I have an inspection, and 2 year warranty extension (about $9,500), as I won;t have the car unless it's under warranty (my issue). So do I keep a car which I'm not exactly thrilled about the color, or try to trade with about $40K difference with a 'new' used 2017, with about 2 years warranty left instead? Another option is a non-black on black 2015 slightly used (low miles) certified which is also an option. The past V8 Vantages I've had all had better colors, all had tan interiors which I'd prefer, and all lighter colors that I don't freak out getting slightly dirty.
