Using Air Filter Intake for Front Brake Cooling instead - bad idea?
Hi guys!
While doing the "Air Box Delete" on my Vantage '10, I was thinking on all the wasted "air plumbing" in the front. Perhaps it could be used for an effective front brake cooling? Just a short air duct from the air box intake to the inside of the wheel arch?
Anyone done that? Doable? Bad idea? Other thoughts?
Regards,
/Sven

That seems absolutely doable to me. You gain loads of space without the airfilter boxes...
For proper cooling airflow feeding to the inside of the brake disk is advisable, like shown here:

Edit: on second thought, even with the airbox delete, " the wasted "air plumbing" in the front " still provides the mayority of the cold air for the engine, no?
