lovingit is infamous around these parts
Core charge on new battery
Why is it I am charged tax on core charge when I buy a new battery but when I return the old battery, they only give me the core charge back but not the tax on the core? In CA.

In California, I think you can breathe the air in, but you get a carbon tax when you exhale

There is no tax on cores that I am aware of in any state.

Ummm...
So you own an AM and the tax on the core charge is maybe $3 or $4 and ummm. what?

There is no tax if you exchange at the same time. Only pay $1 state fee.

Thats not the point. I can own a Ferrari but if a charge isn’t correct, I’m not going to let it slide.
