Any suggestions on a sideview mirror that sometimes refuses to close or open. This is an intermittent problem. Fiddle with it and it opens are closes but would like to get this sorted.

Suggestions?

Keep fiddling with it, manually force it all the way forward and then to the folded position, about a dozen or more times. Make sure it is in a locked position and use the buttons or FOB to activate to be in sync with the opposite side. They never seem to fold or un-fold at the same rate anyway. Theory is range of motion prevents stiff joints.
