Mild to wild exhaust remotes. What are you guys using?
Just wondering what you guys are using to control the exhaust valves on your Vantages? I’ve read about the mild to wild on Vettes but they don’t list the Vantage on their website. Do these work on the Vantage? What options are out there?

Works fine on a vantage

Search this forum for fuse 22 (or fuse 15 for more recent models)
|
Buy a remote control relay kit and connect to whatever fuse your car uses (15/22). You can then use the remote to either have always open or OEM control. I programmed my garage door opener to the remote so I can turn on and off without the remote at all.
This is the one I use in my car. $18 |

Forum Search Useful
Quite a lengthy earlier post on the subject; Post #43 onwards regarding the inexpensive option.

https://www.cccharger.co.uk/ My service manager at local AM dealer says they've seen error codes when the fuse is taken out. I did that on the Vantage and did not get an error code, but not being able to switch from loud to normal is a big deal. I don't need it so loud when settled into hwy driving. |
