V8 Vantage 4.3 Parts! Where??
I can't speak to the V8, but the V-12 is a Ford Cosworth/AM 6.0L engine. While some components (eg, block, crank, heads, oil pan and assosciated gaskets) are specific AM parts, the bulk of the parts are from the Ford warehouse. Some careful measuring, and straw purchases have confirmed this.
Once I found a speed shop with a 60 degree boring/honing set up that could handle a 30" block all was good. That, and since the cylinder head cam craddles were galled sent me in the direction of having plain bearings installed. Be nice to be running on bearings and not just the aluminum/SiC craddles. I'm using Dura-Bonds, which have a decent name in the last 5-8 years. I "Think" I have found the guy in Kansas City, MO who has a boring bar/cutter long enough to handle the heads. All the valves/springs/rockers/lashes are straight up ford, as are the pistons/rings/connecting rods.
