DB9 Volante Interior Cabin Runs Warm

Hello,

I've noticed that the footwells of my DB9 Volante get quite warm after driving the car for a bit. If I've been driving the car for a bit, park the car, and come back an hour or two later there is quite a bit of residual heat in the cabin. The trunk also seems to get pretty warm. I never noticed this in the DB9 coupes that I've driven but haven't driven other Volantes. The engine seems to be running normally and nothing seems out of the ordinary with the exception of the excess heat coming into the cabin. Does anybody else have this issue? Thanks!

I have the same thing - I think it it because of the residual heat of the engine

Same here in my '11. The floor and the trunk latch ledge area get toasty. Sometimes I run a/c to the floor vents just to keep it cooler.

Definitely agree with you guys on this one. My DBS exhibits the same qualities. Hindsight being 20-20 (over 4 years of ownership); the V12 is one massive (compressed and compacted) block and can only suspect this is part of the culprit?
