How to remove stuck seat

Hi

I have 2009 DB9 Volante.

My driver seat is stuck and it won't move forward or backward.
I tried removing metal housing of the motor and move/rotate the motor with hand, I felt lot of resistance and seat won't move.

I am suspecting there is something preventing seat form moving, may be a dropped pen or toy or something.

I need to remove the seat form the car to see if there is something there. Since it won't move, I can't access 2 rear bolts which secret the seat to floor of the car.

Is there any trick to remove these bolts, is there anyway to remove nut on the opposite side may be from under the car?

I am wondering if it is not a calibration issue. Have you tried calibrating it?

You could try to remove the subframe from the seat. That would give you better acess to find the obstacle.

Subframe is bolted with 4 bolts upwards into the seat.
If your lucky you can acess them with the seat moved to maximum height front & rear.

you can see one of the bolts in the pic (right hand side, the one with the green marking):
When I remember correctly it was a allen key.
Probably you can shorten a existing tool for easier acess.

Hi

I am interested in the topic. Did you figure out how to remove the seat and more importantly what the problem was?

Thanks

It was the control module
I purchased it , had to replace both side driver and passenger and then have car to dealer to program it.

Then seat started moving but I was still curious so I removed the seat to inspect and there was a bolt with built in washer in the track which was partially chewed up so it must have caused the module to fail and that’s why I was feeling more resistance
