3820 lb. shes a thick girl but feels lighter than my R8. prob the rwd

For comparison, my R8 v10 plus weighed 3680 with a kline exhaust, and my 911 T weighed 3240 (manual almost zero options).

Forged wheels, steel brakes, sport package with 16 way buckets, upgraded audio, alcantara everything

 

 

That seems in line with what was expected. Would have been nice if they shaved 200 lbs or so off that. The R8 has the AWD components and it's still lighter. 911s are so light compared to competing cars.

 

Looks like alot of that weight is the sound system upgrade (extra sub woofers and speakers) and the seats with 16 way controls. Its disappointing that the sport package doesnt save 50lb with carbon seats, that would be nice.
However, this car is seriously over powered for the oem tire sizes so a bit of extra weight can hurt in a straight line.
They shouldve put more serious meats on the rear wheels.

 

Aston Martin does quote the weight for the sound systems in the Vantage.
The base 200W 6-speaker system weighs 5.3kg and the Premium 640W 12-speaker comes in at 13.2kg

the sound is very bad, the bass is always invasive!
I removed the Subwoofer under the left rear seat and the sound is more balanced = -6kgs
Lithium battery = -17kgs
Airboxes = -4kgs
Exhaust = -11kgs
............
