sliderule01 is infamous around these parts
Right next to the model number, there is a Q-code (or what ever the thing is called) to take a picture and bring up a website

OK so finally I ended up replacing both fuel pumps and fuel filters. Paid about $ 450 for 2 fuel pumps and 135 for 2 fuel filters. Purchased from FCPeuro, they come with life time replacement warranty so any time it fails you buy new ones and send defective one back and they will refund original purhchase price. These parts are exactly like what came out of the car.
I used original electric wire connector from original fuel pump as that wire connector with then new pump might not be the same. Any way i could not reach inside the truck to disconnect wire plug anyway. I transferred ground wire connector form original filter to new filter.

Car works fine now, no hiccups except now my AC compressor is leaking so have a new one and have to replace it soon.

On scuderia it was about 1400 for 2 pumps and 300 for 2 filters plus shipping, custom duty etc.

Oh BTW

I ended up testing old fuel pumps again by connecting them directly to 12 V car battery out side the car and one stopped working (both had worked on my first test few days ago)
also one which had stopped working my alligator wire really got HOT. It was scary if this happens inside the fuel tank it could catch fire but i guess before that car will go in limp mode and may be power will cut off.

There are grounds in the rear wheel wells. Worth cleaning those.

Thank you for posting all of this - I was afraid of removing the cover for the roof and thus didn't do this job while I had my car apart. Because of you I am now fearless...

lol happy to be of help.

i always tell my friend who also has DB9 , when we work on the cars that it’s like LEGO blocks (bit more refined) worst it can happen is we can’t put it back together then we will just take it to some mechanic in a flat bed with bag full of parts 😜

Thank you for everything!! According to scuderia parts it shows 2 different numbers for left and right pumps, did you have any issues with using the same 2 pumps? Also how did you disconnect the pump from the tank? I have a coupe and it will be a tough job without the open access. Could you give me a call or text if i give you my number? Really just to bounce questions off of you!

Hi Wildcat, it's sounding more and more like my issue. The previous owner had the fuel pumps replaced due to fuel low pressure code. My car runs fine and then just randomly (not necessarily under any load or stress) goes into limp mode and runs like a bag of crap. Originally it was just check fuel which would disappear after stopping and restarting. Recently its decided to throw up check emission as well which has to be cleared by a code reader. Unlike yours tho, mine runs fine when it doesn't have the fault. My mechanic has a driver coming from Scuderia so will keep you posted
