I_gotta_Vantage is infamous around these parts
In all honesty I like android in the car over carplay. You can take an android tablet and there are so many apps on google play like carwebguru that will convert the home screen to function more like a car indash. Android wins when it comes to car apps.. You gotta jailbreak ios to get the good apps but its so unstable.

Android Auto combined with all the free apps Google owns, much better for the car. Plenty of free car customization apps on gplay... I believe you can configure the android to shut down via android auto when you turn off the car.... No IOS solution for that...

Amazon has 8 inch android tablets for $60. They have wifi & Bluetooth for the boovee...

But we luv IOS! 😩

I hate to be the wet blanket but I seem to remember when the new DB11 came out there was a universal gasp at the exposed monitor on the dash - Horrid! Has everyone calmed down now or just acquiesced to the inventible.
Now that I'm giving it a little thought I'm wondering how we're doing this removing of physical buttons/switches/***** in the states. Our ADA laws are quite extensive and far reaching. We were modernizing a school in our town and apparently the water fountains were sticking out too far from the wall and a blind student might bump into them. So we had to install metal rails on each side of the fountain for him to bump into instead.

I would not use this setup for day to day trip but more on a long journey where I don't know exactly where I am going as I too like the clean look of the water fall center console
