Do any one know a mechanic that knows the Vanquish really well? Aston dealers are not the best for older Astons. Looking for a good mechanic in BC.

Maybe a little too far for you, but I have a friend with an NP Vanquish that has it serviced by Vince at Park Place Aston in Bellevue WA. Vince seems to know the cars well.

It's about a 2.5 hour drive from the border.

Also know a local Vanq owner that had his car at MCL for months for transmission issues. Still wasn't totally right last time I spoke with him.

 

Yeah i have heard bad things about MCL. That is why i like to find a good mechanic who understands the older Astons. MCL is more the ew stuff. Bring it to the States is not really a option because of the logistics.

If you know of any others in BC let me know. I have no issues with my db9 or Vanquish but like to find a good mechanic before i need one

 

For sure. He sits right next to me at our shop in Oliver, BC. Chris Edgett, 6Speed's very own 'Irish' knows these cars very well. Including some of the infamous transmission calibration procedures! Now, we don't have an AMDS on site right at the moment but it's something we'd consider investing in, if we would use it enough.

Yes in Oliver. But i was not aware they did servicing on the older Astons.
