Amelia Island Concours

I will be at Cars and Coffee at the Concours tomorrow Saturday morning with our Aston Martin V8Vantage. I will be back for the Concours on Sunday afternoon as a class host for the Penske Cars. Hope to see some of the there. As always the Amelia Concours is a world class automotive event. This year celebrating it 25th year should be the best yet.

have fun Gene... I'm passing this year... going to a British car show in Jupiter over Easter weekend...

my daughter and I were planning to see thr new James Bond movie on Friday night and planning to "Q" up my vantage with machine guns and rockets... since premier is pushed back, rethinking this...

Amelia is a great place and great event... enter car on Saturday and no parking fees or shuttle...

Had a great time at the Concours today these are the winning Penske Indy cars that I was a class host for. All the Penske team members were a delight to be with.

Darn...missed it. Sounds like it was a great event. I remember going to the very first one. They were not too choosy early on and I contemplated entering my '71 BMW CSL.

I was able to take these pictures before the show field opened. By 10:00 there would have been such a crowd that pictures would be very difficult. The show opens at 9:00 but these were taken before the early 8:00 admission. Hope you enjoyed looking at them. The Amelia Concours is one of the best automotive events in the world. It is a show that you should have on your bucket list.

My favorite car at the Concours

I didn’t take any pictures of my car at Amelia. I had the only Aston Martin there on Saturday. Met five Aston Martin owners from all over the country. Had a great time this year I took my younger son with me, his first time at Amelia.
