Thanks for the link....things turn to Aston and heat up around 18:30 mark, but be forewarned the verdict on latest iteration Astons is very negative. Interesting that despite his somewhat AMG phobic comments Jason sounds optimistic about the new CEO.

 

The latest generations deserve a very negative assessment. I had a DB11 and it was nowhere the car as the previous generation of cars.

 

Makes total sense, why they fired Andy. IMHO all the cars came out after he took over, is not Aston, it's something else (%#@!^#). I understand that he's passionate, humble person, but that doesn't make him good CEO. I hope things will start moving at right direction, bring the elegance back, make it bespoke, classy car again.

This was a good listen. The Asian commentator's knowledge of Aston history was commendable.

 

The SUV should have been priority one from a busisness perspective, that alone justifies the firing.

 

Yeah, Derek is a car historian with old-school tastes. The running joke is that he's the youngest 94 year old in the world.
