2007 Vantage stutters then goes like out of gas.

Hello everyone, something peculiar and scary just happened : after 1km from an effortless start, the car stutters, and stops after 100 mts. Won't start again, like out of fuel or smth. It's surely got fuel, just put some 20 kms ago. No anomaly message from board computer, no warning light either . Will put more gas and try again. If not what could it be?
Fuel pump? Dirty gas?
Thanks for the advice

Sounds like fuel pump or clogged fuel filter. I'd reckon failing fuel pump would throw a code though. Good luck.
