lol Stealth is the name of the game. I just like them to see the yellow brake calipers and the yellow rear valence when I blow by them! Yup that was yellow brake calipers that you saw, as confirmed by the rear valence.

MBi is infamous around these parts
I've actually spoken with AM Corporate about this and was told at their cost it's about 50K for the same finish as from factory after being fully stripped and reassembled.

With that in mind, I would say IMO there is something wrong with a wrap. They don't come anywhere close to the finish or depth of a paint job. I've never been impressed with the looks of a wrapped car.

Aston charging 2.5x of what one would pay anywhere else sounds about right.

I'm sure the labor to strip a car and reassemble is at least 10-20K +

In truth, I've never seen a car where I could not tell that it was wrapped. So, in that regard, you can always tell when a car is wrapped.

Wrap can never match with paint but it's a good solution.

It is real. Search "illmatic wraps" on instagram. They actually believe this is amazing

I just had a (non-aston) car painted. Car was already stripped of all trim. Exterior only $20k. This was a high end finish. For full car with interior panels I'd expect it to be around $40k.

I am not a fan of wrap unless it’s for advertising, but not a high end car. IMO

I wanted a bit of green on my Ducati and considered wrapping, but the finish’ in the tight corners worried me ....so at huge cost I have removed it and have taken it to a custom painter, I don’t think a perfectionist could live with wrap, that said I have seen some fantastic wrap jobs

but u are fooled if you think you will simply restore the car to original when you tire of wrap

take your hand from your heart and stick it in your pocket

BMW's with matte paint from the factory look like bad wraps to me. I'm always surprised to learn that, no, the owner actually wanted that look.

To each their own! Or else we would all have the exact same looking cars.

My Vantage goes in for wrap in a few weeks. Hold my Beer...

Protects the stock paint and lets you change color with your mood. $5K for a wrap with decent material, little more if they actually take some panels off to do it right.
