I had a similar floor put in a few years ago, and it took about three days in total. I also had them (Tailored Living) run the finish up about a foot up the bottom of each wall- definitely a good idea if you have that option as it give you more of a completely sealed 'tub'. The floor is holding up very well, and appears resilient to jack stands (with cars on top of them). The only thing to keep in mind with this kind of flecked finish is that finding dropped screws can be very very difficult

No affiliation, but you may like to check out their options -

All great advice. Having the coating run up the walls worked well for me too, and I agree if you have a floor like this, buy a magnetic sweeper, as you'll look for those things forever! Also for consideration, for those of us that live in colder climates, these clear-coated floors get REALLY slick if you walk onto them with snowy shoes/boots. Might want to keep that in mind if this applies to you. I would still do ours the same way again though, as the looks and ease of cleaning outweigh that drawback.

Here's a couple of pics of my attempt at a Gulf Racing style polyaspartic floor coating. Obviously, there's other Gulf Racing styling cues in the garage to help compliment the floor.

Thinking outside the box on color can help with the problem of finding dropped screws that was mentioned earlier.

This flooring wears well and handles the searing hot tire temps of Texas summers, but one word of warning, when it's wet its DANGEROUSLY slick.

Do you want to check about the hardwood floor ideas, I read a lot in a site name house staging but they would have done more better than what the described.

I tiled my gargaage floor with "Clinker Tile", the same tile they use in BMW Service Departments. Tough as nails, no issues!

I settled for 14mm thick tiles because I could not get any contractor to do epoxy due to Covid and staff issues....I am very happy at this stage.

I recently had one of my garage floors redone with polyurea with low-gloss top. Not slippery when wet and it came out FANTASTIC.

These tiles are 10 years old and look fantastic. Best part is they don’t lift after time when I pull my cars in after they are driven like they are supposed to be.

this thread has got me thinking to replace my floor finish... it's starting to discolor and lift a bit where my hot tires sit on the floor...

what are some good budgets you guys are thinking for tile or epoxy?

I did an epoxy coated floor by the biggest vendor in the Boston area Boston Garage. They seem to be the "go to" company in my area. The style I went with is called Nantucket. Fitting since I grew up on the Cape and was the one I liked the best.

Throw in a picture of a buddy's new Evora who parked in the garage for the day:
