After looking at all the options, we recently redid our garage floor with epoxy. I know the down side, and have had it for years.

A top notch painter who knows his stuff will do just fine. This stuff looks very nice too. But the tile option we examined from garagetek and others was insanely expensive for plastic.

We used an epoxy sealant with light sand, and a second coat with no sand. Came out awesome. Not cheap, but nothing like the tiles.

I just installed RaceDeck in my garage. I'm *extremely* happy with it. I prefer tiles since being in the military...I have a tendency to move relatively frequently, and want to be able take it with me.

Update: had salesman over and it's a 2 part polyurethane system. Full concrete prep, polu base coat, flakes and poly top coat. Guaranteed not to lift or peel. Can even be done outside on concrete or over other masonary materials. Has only been done in NY Metro area for a little over a year, but longer in other parts of the country. Only 24 hrs dry time to drive back on. Rather expensive at $6500 for my 1000+ SF garage. Will do some more homework with a couple of local completed jobs to see. Companies home base is Arizona so if any of you SW guys know of someone who has had this product for a couple years would appreciate input.

$6500? Yikes!!

I just did my entire warehouse that is about 1200sf and the materials were less than $600.00. I did acid etch the floor and also patched old holes, etc. All told, we had [I]maybe[I] 15 manhours in the job. It really isn't difficult.

Same type paint too. It was an epoxy polyurethane. They did say it takes 24 hours and you can drive on it. I played it safe and waited a week.
