I'm trying to locate the tonneau release cables on my 09 Vantage Roadster and I can't find them according to where they should be in the owners manual. I was closing my roof and stopped in the middle as I was grabbing something, but once I continued to close it it stopped and I got the no movement possible message. I tried reseting windows and that didn't work. Was going to put it up manually without locking it and try to see if it works. I also have a random wire that doesn't connect to anything on the back hood as shown. I know there was a video dash system installed, but wasn't sure if that was linked to the system. Should I replace the fuse and unplug the battery once its up if I still have issues?

You got Me :-(
I have an 09 Roadster also.
I stopped 1/2 way thru on mine once (very bad idea!) and the top sagged down and jammed the hard cover.
I was able to lift the cover, ease the top down into the storage area and lower the cover. All by hand being careful to to force anything. Be careful, for me it was heavy.
Once in the top open status I was able to start the motor and then run thru the process with the button to deploy the top. It locked into position and gave me the Roof Movement Complete message.
After that I have not had a problem.
I don't have any help around or I would try a partial deployment to look for the wires and cables in your photos. I know there are none hanging when the top is between open or closed.
That's the issue is that I don't want to force it, pulling the front part of the roof up is not an issue, pulling the back part up seems to require some significant force along with pushing the roof down.

Is it possible to release/ raise this metal cover manually on thr db9? I want to get to my gas tank, which is located under the canvas top storage area.
I manually locked the roof using the hex key in hopes to reset the sequence, that didn't work. But it did allow me to finally lift the back so I could put the roof up and back into the correct sequence, I tried the roof again this time from the correct sequence with the top up but still nothing. Next I tried roof movement from the top down position, I got movement but it stops halfway although I still hear the motor running. When I tried to close the roof from the halfway stuck point it won't close all the way, it tries to but pops back up like something is blocking it from locking in place. Any suggestions on next steps?
