Charlotte spent >10 weeks with the car. But, it runs. It needed a few grounds cleaned, but more importantly, they replaced the CEU (Central Electrical Unit, or main fuse box/BCM) and programmed new keys.
I now have a TPMS problem.
The Smartire system shows no communication with the front tires. I tried to replace the sensors with the Autel MX-Sensor dual frequency as described on this site and others. It still shows the front tires as not communicating. I can get a used Smartire box from eBay, but I desperately need a programmer. I'm not sure, but I'm guessing the problem is in the module at this point. I can't know without a programmer.

Anybody know where I can buy, rent or borrow one?

Regarding the TPMS, many people (including myself), just disconnected the SmartTire system.

Free fix, unplug the Smartire module, then with a meter or test light check the pins for battery voltage with the key on. Only 1 pin has power (Red/blue) connect the other 3 wires together. 1 is ground and other 2 send the message to the Instrument Pack.
-tire system fault
-check tires
If they actually read the tire pressure like other cars or newer models it could be helpful.

J doubleU,
I ordered the Redpants defeat cable. It's on backorder.
I just want to verify that all I need to do is ground the 2 signal wires and the lights go away? I can do that!
Thanks!

Correct, ground the 2 wires. Pre 2008 you can just unplug and messages will not be present.

I have similar issues on my 2012 Rapide. Here’s a link to the report:
ThinkDiag report
I will be checking the grounding issues mentioned here. Especially since this was a flood car. If anyone has any other ideas please share.

Welcome to the DIY club and best wishes!

Do you have a sense of how high the water got? You will need to aggressively de-rust all electrical connections that got wet across the entire vehicle. I'm sure you have started down that path, but you have lit up the AM Christmas tree of errors all of which point to confused computers/sensors of which, as you have discovered there are quite a few.

I unplugged (removed) my smartire module 8 years ago. Haven't had a problem. I make it a practice to check my tire pressure regularly with a professional gauge. The gauge is less costly and more reliable than the smartire!
