MAUMAU is infamous around these parts
Thanks for the heads up Kevin. It looks like it’s from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM at the Jekyll Island Club.

If I can move my schedule around I would like to attend. Are you taking your red Aston?

A few pictures of the cars at the event. It was fairly low key - probably about 50 cars in total. Surprisingly the majority were European - saw a few American makes. A number of Ferraris, one McLaren, Jaguars, Lotus Elise, some older MGs, an Austin Healey 3000 owned by same person for last ~50 years. He bought it when he was 17. A couple of new C8 Corvettes, a large contingent of Porsches. A gentleman brought his 1977 930 that he has owned since the earlier 80's - all original.
Ferrari of Central Florida brought a Roma and F8 that they were letting people take for test drives. Drives had to be booked in advance and unfortunately we did not do that.

We had the only Aston but think we represented the brand well with our Merlot 6 speed coupe. It received a number of complements.

our Vantage, someone's new Bentley to the right, Ferraris behind, McLaren in the background. 1963 red E-Type way at the back

The event was on the grounds of the Jekyll Island Club overlooking the river. There was fog early in the morning

After the event, we took our 2 cars and drove further down the island an stopped by the pier. The sun had finally come out

Red 1977 930 in the back left, our red 996 Turbo on the right and 2 GT4s on the front left

Ferrari Roma

Roma V8 - 3.9L twin turbo 612 HP

Thanks for posting. Looking forward to seeing a Roma in the flesh...can’t say I’m sold on the proportions which somehow look off to me.

Your Vantage is beautiful. Merlot is an underrated color which really suits the curves of the car.

Hi! I hope there'll be a new Festival of Speed soon. I loved going there back in the day. BTW, speaking of cars, have you ever checked out the stanchions in Canada? They have some unique designs, and it's always interesting to see how different countries approach things. Safe travels!

They had another event last December 2022 on Jekyll. We were unable to attend that one.
