Does anyone know what Motul oil you need to change the transaxle on a 2013 v8v manual tranny? And how many liters?
I think it is Motul 300 75W90....I believe 5 liters.
Amazon Amazon

Also, what are the part numbers for the other parts? It says you need new washers (I believe 2 quantities) and fill plugs and o-ring (I believe 1 quantity)

That link worked for me. From that page click on the picture which takes you to the details and video Rich posted.

Here is the direct link: https://www.redpants.lol/transaxle-fluid-change

I have a manual transmission. It appears that the Castrol BOT270A and Motul 300 75W90 are for sportshift but Redpants used it for his manual transmission Vantage. So I’m assuming the above mentioned oils are ok for either manual transmission or sportshift?

If so, is the Amazon link I sent above is the right Motul oil for manual transmissions? I couldn’t find the Castrol BOT270A oil on Amazon.

Rich does not recommend Motul 300 75W90 for Sportshift - he only recommends the Castrol BOT270A.

The Motul is what I used in my 2007 V8V manual when I did the fluid refresh a couple of years ago and it has been working well.

The Amazon link you posted appears to have the correct Motul gear oil.

KDM, thanks for confirming. Amazon sells both the Motul 300 75W90 and the LS version. I think just the regular one works.

BOT270A is GL-4 oil. So is Redline MT-LV. Motul 300 is a GL-5.
Caveat emptor: GL-5 lubricants contain an additive which, instead of protecting brass and bronze synchromesh rings from wear, actually accelerates their wear.
Why use a harmful oil when it is so simple to use one which is not? From my 35+ years as a mechanical engineer I learned long ago how important the selection of lubricants is to maximize machinery's lifespan.
So it's thumbs up for Redline and BOT270A. And a big thumbs down for Motul 300.
Just saying.

I had no idea Motul 300 was bad. Redpants said he used it for his manual vantage. Unless you’re saying Motul 300 for sportshift cars is bad but ok for manual transmissions?

Motul has a 300 and 300 LS. The 300 LS is a GL5 oil. The other is a GL4. I use the 300 75W/90

Yes, and it appears to be working well. When it comes time to replace it again in a few years, I plan on using the same.

At the price of that transaxle BOT270A is what I put in, no playing around.

Motul lists the 300LS as a GL-5 oil. The 300 is listed as GL-4/GL-5.
Neither is the best choice for a Graziano transaxle.
