Okay, my battery is 7 years old now but still shows 80% of the 700CCA which good condition.
I looked up the part number CD33-10655-AA Fits: Aston Martin DB9 (2013-2016), Aston Martin V12 Zagato, Aston Martin Vanquish (2012+), Aston Martin Virage, but no VANTAGE. It still shows at 80% life I’m still going to replace it, I don’t need a surprise.

Preventative maintenance (change out) of an old battery is often overlooked because the battery is exactly easy to get to. At 7 years old I'd say you got your monies worth. As owner know a weak/bad battery can cause crazy things to happen with our Astons.

 

As a statement of the obvious, I would say you have an issue with corrosion on the negative battery terminal that you might wish to address.
