A V12 manual is a pretty thinly traded stock. The last three 2011 V12 Vantage manuals sold on Bring-a-Trailer fetched $95k (7/18), $87k (2/19), and $92k (1/21). Pretty stable. That said there's a clear divide between auction prices and private listings. Unlike DBS's, where we've recently seen some collector grade examples get auctioned, owners don't seem to be selling investment grade V12 Vantage manuals on BaT. If I were to gauge where value is headed I'd pay closer attention to the manual DBS secondary values over V12 S models. As a manual V12 owner I don't consider a 2015 V12 S to the be the same car. That's not a knock on the V12 S. I'd happily own one. But it wouldn't be as a substitute for a V12 manual car. Recent DBS prices suggest the market for manual V12s has firmed up post covid.
Completely agree with above. Only really referring to the 2011/2012 manual v12 vantage. I looked at them for years and finally pulled the trigger recently. I honestly didn't pay much more than what I was looking at 5-6 years ago. I'm always looking to add different things to the garage though - looking at comps was shocking to me, even in this strange crazy market - thus this thread...
You're referring to the dogleg V12VS yes? Earlier replies seem to refer to non-dogleg V12VS which imo has nothing on 2011/12 V12V manuals.
The dogleg V12 does have a few more upgrades over 2011/12 V12V manuals, i.e. bosch ecu, 7 speed, aesthetic pieces, suspension etc. DBS is in another league of its own. Yours will certainly hold well.
I reckon all AM V12 manuals will hold their prices respectively well. Call it pandemic YOLO or FOMO. Whatever it is, enjoy your purchase.
I have a R8 V10 Plus S-tronic and occasionally still looking for a R8 manual, which, as you already know, is an unicorn. Have you seen the sp on 2011 R8V10 on BAT recently? Now that is crazy.
Did some digging around and didn't know these numbered 2012 carbon black cars were so rare. I learned my car is Azurite Black which explains the purple tones. Only five made worldwide. There are virtually no comps for these cars, but I did see a 10k mile 2011 v12 manual just sell at Newport AM - it was listed at $139k. Don't know if it sold for that much, but it's about the only data point out there right now.
I'm the guy who bought that car, a Carbon Black. I paid $135K. I'm shipping it out to Oahu, where it may be the only Vantage on the island, and certainly the only V12 manual Vantage in Honolulu. There is no dealership here, only indies, so I am taking a leap of faith. What the hell, you only live once!

That's awesome! Will be even more of a unicorn on the island. Congrats on the purchase.
I'm looking forward to its arrival from Long Beach via Matson Lines. I am a newbie to Astons but eager to learn from all you guys who already own them. I sold my 911 Turbo manual on BaT recently to trade up to this Vantage V12. The Porsche was a fine car, but I just never fell in love like I suspect I will after hearing this Aston's roar.
Hey Norgeiron, Had my 2007 Vantage on Oahu since December 2006. Right now I can account for three Vantages on the island. When your V12 arrives it may well be the only V12 Vantage. There are at least half a dozen DB9s and at least four DB11s. I'm fairly active in the various car shows on the island. Maybe I'll see you there.
Hey Hawaiianvantage,
Thanks for reaching out. I truly had no idea there were other AM's on the island, as I had never seen any except one, a white DB9 I saw in the zoo parking lot. I stopped and chatted with the owner, and he told me that Osborne Auto in Kalihi is the place he got his car serviced. Is that where you and the other Oahu AM guys get your cars serviced? When my car arrives I would like to take it and meet up with other local Aston owners. From the looks of your photograph----very beautiful Vantage by the way----you guys were meeting in Kaneohe. That's where I live. How would I make contact?
Hawaiianadvantage,
I probably can't send PM's since I have so few posts, either that or I can't figure out how to change my settings to receive them. My cell is (808) two-three-two, 1630. My name's Tom, too.

The car arrived on Oahu two days ago and I can now register my first impressions: it is a chest thumping gorilla in a tuxedo. The exterior is the most beautiful car design I have ever seen, poetry transformed into metal and glass. Henrik Fisker is a genius. Then you fire it up and all hell breaks loose. The V12 shakes and roars. I'm used to lovely engine noise as I have an E-39 M5 with a Dinan exhaust, but it pales in comparison to this beast. I am in awe.
Norgeiron, Everyone says you gotta post pictures of your car or it didn't happen. 61mga, thanks, easy to clean was the most important reason for choosing those wheels. All the bolts are recessed.
