am doing some tire shopping and ran across a pic of an aston trunk with a spare in it. i assumed my new-to-me 2007 vantage coupe did not come with a spare in the trunk. i would look right now but i keep it in an indoor storage facility and do not have immediate access to it. i have to admit i never looked very closely...

It came with an inflator like this one and a can of tire goo you can no longer buy. No spare tire nor a place to put one.

 

thanks guys... that's kinda what i thought.
i'm thinking that "patch kit" is just something to keep you busy fumbling around trying to fix it until the tow truck shows up.

 

You can get the refill on amazon UK....I got my whole replacement tire repair kit on ebay for a Volvo, It is the same kit as Aston had in 2007 I am told. I haven't tried to find it in the US as my kit had a bottle with it and it was only a year or so old.

 

I have been unable to find the tire goo for sale in the US for the last several years. The original 2007 inflator kit for the Vantage looks like the picture I posted earlier., the tire goo bottle fits inside the unit. Not sure what the Volvo rig looks like.

I keep my original inflator in the space for it on the left side of the trunk, and will call AAA if I get a flat!

 

I have the original kit but wouldn't use the tire goo except as an absolute last resort. Makes an unholy mess inside the wheel.

Call AAA and take it back home is my preference. Can always take a wheel off and throw it in the truck to get a tire changed.
