Wiper Upgrade for 2007 Vantage

Looks good! I bought the Bosch Icon series at Pep boys... However they look exactly the same as yours. I'm not sure what's different about the Aerotwin vs Icon.
Either way AM of LI didn't like them and told me they wouldn't work at 150mph

Why won't they work at 150mph? If anything the look more aero dynamic.
Once mine go out I will definitely upgrade with these! Thx for tip

I cannot seem to find that specific part number anywhere. Does anyone know what actual car the Bosch Aerotwin AR801S is used on? Volvo I assume?
Perhaps an equivalent Icon series blade part number?

I can tell you that, on my Esprit, when you pass 130, the "aero" blades actually started to move the wiper arm up the windshield. By the time I'm going 180 it is at the middle of the windshield. Luckily the Esprit only has a single wiper so (due to the direction of its sweep) it sits in the field of view of the passenger instead of the driver. I suspect that the ugly holes in the original design of the Vantage blade let air flow through it rather than create wind resistance. The newer Vantages actually resolved this problem by redesigning the wiper arm as well.

Hey guys,
Did more research, turns out the Aerotwin branding is used for Bosch wipers made in Europe, while the Bosch Icon brand is used specifically for the US aftermarket. They are essentially the same identical thing, just the branding and availability is different.
I also found out the Bosch I con is basically sold by the wiper length with a much simpler part number system.
Passenger wiper = 20"
Drivers wiper = 24"
I still don't know exactly which one to order but that should help at least clarify some of the confusion of why Aerotwins are not available here in the USA

Hey guys,
After doing more research it appears you can use the Bosche Icon series, but there's re two versions of each blade, A or B. The 24" blade is the drivers side blade (rests in center of windshield, and the 20" is the passenger side that rests on far end of the windshield.
The A designation is for less spring curvature (usually drivers side wiper). The B designation is for more curvature (passenger side). With this in mind it appears the proper combination would be 24A + 20B.
With that said some of the Aston owners on piston heads have tried the Aerotwin but are running into the problem that the stock aston wiper arm spring is too weak to counter act the larger spring force of the wiper design and is causing H&R center of the wiper to not shed water:

Jeremy can you comment on this? Have you tested the wipers in heavy rain yet to verify?
Thanks,
