With regard to the one of the above graphs...the simplified relationship between HP and Torque ...HP=(TxRPM)/5252....I would be suspect of the data when the curves don't cross at 5252RPM.
Thanks,

Hello
Between a DB9 and a DBS with the ZF6HP automatic gearbox, the gear ratios are the strictly the same, only the final ratio changes, 9% shorter on the DBS (3.46 vs 3.154 on DB9).
For the DB9, this goes well with its more torquey engine, so the DBS compensates for its lack of torque with 9% shorter final ratio !
These short DBS intake manifolds are, however, perfectly suited to the manual DBS gearbox, which have the final gear ratio still 12% shorter!
Final drive in gear 6 for DB9 with ZF6HP = 400km/h à 6750rpm
Final drive in 6 for DBS with ZF6HP = 365km/h à 6750rpm
Final drive in 6 for DBS with Graziano manual gear box = 311km/h à 6750rpm !
with an automatic gearbox, I advise to keep long DB9 intake manifolds...

Do you have numbers? I can't seem to find anything that looks legit. Some websites show the DB9 as faster than the DBS (12.6s vs 12.9s quarter).
I used to have material, not anymore.. base model DB9 with manual trans is faster than the DBS in any configuration. Even if they shared the same powertrain/driveline, the DBS was heavier in it's delivered trim.

Great thread! I too have the same idea, remaking my 05 DB9 to GT1/GT3 spec.
I have the DBR9/DBRS9 Prodrive body panels that are being 3d scanned for my daily driver/restomod. I want to 3d print my hybrid version with more modern DBS features instead of DB9 features
