It is amusing (sort of) how cheap the plastic key looks and how stupidly expensive the glass ones actually are. I guess that's the marketing department for you, make the base model so bad that everyone will take opt for the upsell no matter how much it is.

 

And the plastic Valet ECU is $1300 as quoted by Aston Martin Orlando. Looks cheap but isn't cheap.

I recently made a similar upgrade with the wings badge, I got a tie pin on Ebay UK for £10. I also purchased a (very expensive) set of new buttons for approx £140gbp.The results are fantastic, the key look like new from factory .I bought the buttons from:
