Found oil leak while changing gear oil (V8V)

2007 V8V (50K miles)
The previous gear oil change was done in 2017/42K miles by the previous owner and now It's my turn for the first time. Took off the undertray and found out oil leak (almost like gunk) which looks like sprayed very nicely. (about 10mm thickness)
I have checked the other side but it was clean. The oil leak doesn't look very fresh though. I have never seen any oil leak on the ground. Probably because it was very little and thick.
I just changed the gear oil anyway but haven't put the undertray back yet in case I have to do something before. Does anyone have an idea where the oil leak is from? I assume that it was from the round thing in the photo. Please share your idea if you know what needs to be fixed or if it can be ignored.

About 10mm thickness

Sprayed around the round thing. I don't know how to call it.

Different angle

Red lines indicate gunk

Inside of the undertray

Looks pretty old

Thanks for your guess. I went through the service records and don't see any CV joint was replaced. I just checked the boot and I couldn't really find any grease leak. Only on the metal part was covered with thin gunk.
If it wasn't replaced and this is a current problem, the whole CV joint needs to be replaced? I haven't felt any vibration or weirdness when I am driving.

Grease from the CV is seeping through the bolt holes when hot, into the coupler that it bolts to(aka..the stub)..either replace the shaft, have it rebuilt ...or remove the bolts, pull the shaft and apply Loctite 567 high temp thread sealant to the contacting surface surround, this will avoid the grease coming out and spraying everywhere.

Thank you very much for your help. I will try to remove the bolts and apply the Loctite you mentioned first and see if I get any grease coming out.
