V8V Roadster Owners....Windscreens???

When lowering and raising the top on my 2015 V8V the windscreen always rubs against the clamshell. Didn't think anything of it until the side frame of the windshield snapped this weekend lowering the roof. Did I screw up by not removing the windscreen before lowering the top (the windscreen on my 911 Cabriolet always stays in place). Any advice or is a roof adjustment needed? Those things ain't cheap....

I rarely use the windscreen on my 2014 but have never had any problem with the top fitting over it (raising or lowering). I would check that it is pushed down all the way when fitted.

Thanks. Yeah…that was the first thing I checked and I both sides look to be just fine. Question please, when you put your top up, does the top land pretty hard on your cross pillar or does it gently close down? Mine lands with a thud.
