VelocityAP tune suggestions?

I was going to upload my base file to get my tune and saw that we can put in special requests. Any ideas on what special requests are available that would be useful for my manual v8 vantage?

I requested a valet mode that cuts off at 4000rpm. Haven't used it yet at a hotel but it's nice to know I can activate if needed.

Stwsam is infamous around these parts
You can opt for overrun pops and bangs. I did on my jags but did not want that on the Aston as it can wear the cats. On the jags I was not concerned with cat damage as Jag tuned their FTypes for fuel over run.

I had them change when the active exhaust opened based on engine speed and load

Interesting ideas. My car has aftermarket exhaust otherwise I would definitely consider the exhaust valve mod. I saw the check box for pops and bangs. Not sure I will opt for that.

how does the valet mode work? Is there a series of button presses to activate it?

any other ideas or possibilities?

No, it's a separate file that limits to 4k..So, you would require flashing that file before handing over the keys to a valet, then the reverse process when you get the car back (or driving with the valet file and keeping under 4k). Honestly, it's just not something I'd do on my ride, mainly because every time you flash one of these early cars, the misfire corrections get wiped out..aka until you learn them again, the ecu cannot detect any type of misfire. I definitely could see it coming in handy when loaning the car to a new young driver as a safety measure, but too time consuming for a valet drop off.

Beyond that Valet request, the only other option on these cars would be pops and bangs..everything else I see mentioned it done by default in our files.

Thanks for the clarification. Looking forward to receiving my tune file and trying it out together with my mods.

Is there a new tune required for running your v8v cat-deletes?

I bought the VAP decats from a member here. What will the tune adjustment do? mainly worried about CEL, How much will I have to pay for adding this to the tune?

If you purchased a new product from us, or from one of our dealers and already have our ECU Tuning, there is no charge to update your tune.

I bought Velocity CAT deletes through Morries Aston Martin a few weeks back, still have no idea as to delivery date. I'm not in a rush, but we may have to switch to Quicksilver.
