First time I have heard that secondary cat deletes require a new tune?

Cost would be zero..

Secondary catalyst deletes do not require a tune.

this handheld tuner looks totally different than the one I got when I ordered during the 2021 Black Friday deal. Are there differences ?

Morries has gone through a lot of changes in the past few years, and they now have new management with newer changes. While I'm sure Quicksilver is a great option that they have a dealership status the fact is there are a lot more opportunities for the 'New Morries' to offer the 40 to 50 Minnesota based Aston owners of the past (and new) generation upgrades having a VelocityAP dealership which is why I'd been trying to foster that for both Morries having the ability to install VelocityAP options, and of course your operation as well. Considering that likely 80 to 90 percent of the current area Aston owners would not do their own maintenance and installation of VelocityAP parts - everyone would win. Apparently, there was a problem with the credit card used and my order (I paid cash in advance) got lost without the new management on top of things, so I lost 3 weeks of the 10 weeks to get the part in. Not a huge deal, and I'd rather have the VelocityAP item than the Quicksilver. Not just because of the $200 advantage, but if I add a VelocityAP tune, I'd like to single source everything. I also would like Morries to offer dual clutch instead of Aston clutch's when they go bad, brakes that don't squeal and dust, things like that. Morries will no longer install parts not purchased from them which I understand because things can go wrong. This allows Morries to install VelocityAP items and stand behind their work. The new management is overhauling the business we hope for the better, and with Aston announcing all new product improvements for 2023, we can look forward to a stronger future (hopefully).

The dealer principal called me today. I think they should be able to sort things out to get your order placed pretty soon.

No idea...i had ordered a unit that came and then another one showed up at my door a few days later by mistake. im sure they all do the same thing

We had ran short on stock for our normal device (covid delays), to complete some orders we used another device we had in stock for other platforms..hence the difference between the device..etc.
