Skinning…..

Has anyone done any carbon fiber skinning? I have been thinking about wrapping some interior parts or skinning with carbon fiber. Any thoughts would be great

I seem to recall a thread a year or two ago here regarding this, the results were good. I can't recall who it was though. As I recall sills and door bars were done, and possibly the center console inlay?

This was me. The link to my original thread has been provided. I skinned a few parts. I tried skinning a used waterfall but it made the waterfall too thick. I skinned the radio surround, which came out nice. I used my original Aston waterfall, which is/was carbon. Everything lined up nicely.

I'm happy with the interior of my car, which is holding up nicely. Feel free to inbox me if you have any specific questions about the process.
