The Carbon Project....

I'm excited about this one...

So far, I've replaced the front grill, the slam panel, the door handles, and now I'm getting some interior pieces done.

It took me a while to find the parts, but I believe this is the way my car should have been delivered in the beginning.

The parts in the below picture include:
Gear support and Ash tray, Ski Slope, Stereo Surround and Gas Tank Cover.

Future pieces will include the Aston Martin "Carbon Trim Kit", which includes:

Tread Plate set, Door Caps, Instrument Surround, Cabin Braces and Handbrake assembly.

The trim kit is rather pricey so this may not happen immediately.

I'll update this post as I get the pieces reinstalled.

TAC

I'm assuming this is an overlay? What material are you using? Looking forward to the results!

Yes, this is an overlay. FWIW, the Aston Martin Ski Slope is also an overlay.

I'm using a 2x2 3K twill. They will be finished in satin.

The end result should be quite nice. If you recall, I also changed to glass switches so the overall finish should be quite nice.

Carbon Fiber Elements. He's close to me so I was able to drop the parts off.

I've gotten them all back now. I'm in the middle of installing em. It's way past my witching hour, but I'm itching to see them installed. I'll post picks over the weekend (probably Friday night).

Oh Oh, central locking doesn't work and the car is all buttoned up.

Apart from the obvious (i.e., a disconnected cable), is there anything else that would cause this?

I'll have pictures over the weekend.

Nope. Batteries fine. Car starts with no issues. My thought is that it's unconnected cable. Should be easy to fix. Everything else is working fine.
