Removing sill plaques - Vanquish/Rapide

Hi! Has anyone removed their sill plaques for a Rapide or Vanquish that are stick on as opposed to screwed in like the Vantage? I have custom ones I want to install. Any tips or suggestions? Just prying it off seems precarious...

Remove the entire sill plate, should be a hole in the back that you can press-out the old one, or soak some adhesive remover thru the hole to soften up the sticky bit.

Thanks!

Fishing line!! Brilliant. I removed the sill plate and it allowed me to get a better angle as well. Thanks.
