Did the V8 Vantage (*mine is 2006) come equipped with the much talked about Aston Martin Umbrella??

If so .... Where would the clips or straps be located?

My 2007 V8V had the Velcro loop and female end in it but no umbrella. I picked up the umbrella from Miller Motorcars for (I think) $250 USD brand new. The umbrella retainer is located in the absolute worst place possible to get to when you need an umbrella in a rain storm. It is at the furthest back top portion of the trunk, under the parcel shelf, requiring you to bend over into the trunk and reach as far back as possible while you are being rained on...However you do have an umbrella after that. If you want a photo I can take one later today to show the location.

 

I take the umbrella out and put into the front passenger seat before I leave if I know I am going to use it when I am in the garage. Used umbrella's come up on eBay all the time.

 

Why would you use your umbrella in the garage?
