Trunk umbrella for 2010 V8V?

Interested in buying the OEM trunk mounted umbrella for my V8 Vantage (it did not come with one). Web searches reveal a lot of (expensive) AM branded umbrellas but they do not seem to be designed to mount in the trunk in a neat fashion.

Was hoping to get some help from the membership in two areas:
- Any pictures of how the official optional umbrella looks in the trunk?
- Any pointers about where I could get it? If possible not the most expensive source (the dealership I would assume)

Thanks in advance!

Rudy

I've seen AM umbrellas on sale from time to time, but still hovers close to $100. Try AM's main website, click through to their online shop.

I use a full-size umbrella that fits perfectly in the space. I'll have to look in my car to see what brand it is. I think it was $45, and it's very well-made. It's all black and looks like it belongs in the car, just doesn't have an AM logo on it.

As for mounting it in the trunk, I'm working on something right now

I've never paid any attention, is the umbrella, mine came with, mounted in the trunk? I thought it just kinda laid under the car cover and bag.

I have the OEM umbrella (factory mounted on two loops against the small vertical wall at the 'front' of the trunk... nearest the driver.)

Problem is its basically an ornament. Its under the trunk deck and you can't get to it from the driver's seat while in the car.. Useless in pouring rain. I am not going to get soaked and open up the trunk in the rain if I don't have to.

I have two small (black & gray Totes 10" long) automatic umbrellas that I keep under the passenger seat. $20 each and functional.

2cts...

...not to mention all the rainwater will roll off the hatch right into the trunk.

I put a tiny umbrella in the door pocket. It helps when it rains.
Wait...
No it doesn't.
It almost never rains in LA...
And when it does, I drive the Fiat

Oem

I ordered the umbrella as a $350 option on my 2014. The handle is metal and quite substantial. I don't believe the ones sold on the AM site are the same as the factory installed option. There are obviously better umbrellas for the price - but if you want the engraved wings it's going to cost.

On an unrelated note, what are those nubs right next to the umbrella for?
I have them in my trunk too...

Not sure, but they could be for a cargo net attachment point.

I believe they're for the optional parcel shelf luggage set.

I also did not know what those were for. I asked my dealer if those were anchor points for a cargo net? The dealer said that Aston Martin has never offered a cargo net, and they did not know what they were used for. When you order the factory luggage it just sits in the trunk.

The "nubs" are for this:

I'm surprised your dealer wouldn't know this.
