Did they ever get back to you? Bad battery? Bad ground somewhere?

They haven't looked at it yet. They haven't seen the lights go and off so far. It only lasts about 10-20 seconds.

A friend bought new Evora GT and brought it by my house over the weekend. I had the garage door open when he arrived and thought I was backing the car out only to realize I was at the side of the house. He went by the dealer (something unrelated) and corroborated my story. I think the dealer may think I am out of my mind.

The emergency brake icon staying on has been confirmed. They initially think it is not the battery. Hopefully they'll look at it soon.

Still at the dealer. No error codes found, but no further triage done to car beyond that.

I'm still betting on battery. Ive watched cars 1st hand that wouldn’t turn off because of a bad/old battery. Lights and accessories still going with key/transponder removed from dock. Weird stuff, lol.

Their first thought was not the battery due to its cranking power, but I assume they'll test the battery. They sold me the battery, even though under the old owners.

Dealership did a bunch of tests making sure electrical connections were fine, no can bus errors, but did detect an negative cell in my battery. Battery was replaced and I got the car back last night.

So far, so good. I didn't test the e-brake icon yet, but no lights coming on, on their own.

By all means test the E-brake function. That's a long time to check and replace the battery. Hopefully they didn't charge you excessively. Keep it on the c-tek when you can your battery life depends on it. Driving doesn't charge a battery like one would think.

They have too much service business and finding a time to really look at it was the issue. Was about 2 hours labor and battery was similarly priced to anywhere else. I did not have an appointment; just dropped it off.

I keep it on the CTEK most of the time. Battery was about 5 years old. Icon does go away now.

Nothing yet, the problem is back. It looks like the car has master lamp switch in position 2; side and side markers on. The did not shut off right away when I unlocked door either. Stayed on for 5-6 seconds and then went off.

The odd thing is I have only seen this happen while the car is plugged into the CTEK. Any ideas? Dealership is at a loss on why this is happening.

Ahhh bummer. Well, if the car/ some systems aren't fully going to sleep after ignition is off and fob removed I'd start looking at the CEM.

I am trying to capture a picture of the car locked and the lights on. I was fumbling the iPhone yesterday and missed it. Proving this is happening is like capturing Nessie in a photo. Several have seen it, but never on film.

Now I am getting the phone into photo mode before I open the garage door...
