Brake Squeal TSB
I have a 2019 Vantage which I purchased with ~10K miles on it. From the first time that I drove it I heard the classic annoying front wheel brake squeal. I hoped that it might go away over some time, but it has not, and frankly, it’s embarrassing when I pull up at an exotic car show and every time that I touch the brakes they squeal. I was therefore very please to read on this site, under “Technical Service Bulletins”, that there is a TSB that AM has issued to address the problem. So, I called the closest AM dealer and discussed the TSB with the Service Advisor. He wasn’t aware of the TSB, so he looked it up, and then informed me that the “fix” that AM has developed involves putting some “goo” on the back of the pad to help silence the noise. I used this approach on a car years ago, and it works for a while, but it only addresses the symptom, not the problem. Eventually the squeal returns (which I understand is likely due to glazed pads). Also, since my car is no longer under warranty, there is a hefty service charge to perform the TSB.
The AM Service Advisor also said that the longer-term (or “real”) fix is to have the pads replaced with the newer version of pads that AM now uses. ~$1,500 for that fix. Maybe it’s just me, but for the price one pays for these cars, even used, I would think that the manufacture would “correct” this kind of flaw without charge. Especially since they know that the original pads are defective, and they have a fix. I get that brake pads are a maintenance item, but this problem is not solely due to wear.
Oh, and if you buy the AM extended warranty, which starts at $4,500 for 1 year, it doesn't cover maintenance items, so the brake pad fix would not by covered. Pretty disappointing ...

Brake squeal could be cool cos it sounds like a track/race car. Nothing embarrassing.
I feel that every manufacturer has a TSB on this. Even Porsche made a video about it.
Are your brakes ceramic or iron? If iron, see if the cross drilled holes are "packed" with brake dust. Clearing them helps a bit. Also check the pads retainers/springs, maybe gunk gets in them. If you really have time, just removed the calipers, inspect all the components, give them a good cleaning.
btw I use AGS SIL-Glyde. Amzn has it for under $10. Pretty solid stuff.

Well, it looks like there are several experiences and several points of view on this topic. I appreciate everyone’s input, and now I’ll have to decide which direction to go.
I had great success with BG Stop Squeal. It's a "goo," but it was an easy DIY application. It worked wonderfully on whatever awful squealing pads were on my DB9 when I bought it. I now use Porterfield pads, but the BG Stop Squeal worked for about three years until I replaced the old pads. Under $20.

Holy smokes, who knew that pad squeal was still a thing? I put Porterfields on mine but realized quickly that I wasn't "man enough" to handle the squeal. I even bought some brembo brake grease to try and calm them. Found some knock off semi-metallic pads for the Porsche Cayenne and put them on instead. It still stops fine but doesn't light my neighborhood up at 6AM when I sneak out.
I have OEM's on my 15' V8V GT, and they make a stupid amount of noise. I was going to switch to Porterfields, but after reading this thread, I'm not too sure now. I've already disassembled the front and rear and applied more brake grease, but without much success. Haven't done the parking brake pads, but I wouldn't think that would affect it.
I saw 3 TSBs ( IIRC) regarding brake squeal in the DB11. The fact there are three just makes me feel that Aston doesn’t really have a good handle on the cause.
I have 2019 Vantage with OEM brake squeal. No squeal after I wash the car for about a few hundred miles. No squeal when the brakes are cold or after heavy use. Squeal is pretty much limited to around town leisurely driving after the brakes warm up a bit.
Well, that’s my brake experience. Given all I’ve read about it, I’ve just learned to live with it rather than drive myself batty randomly trying fixes. YMMV.
