What does this mean…..

What do this mean? I got a CEL out of the blue. I have 4 oem O2 sensors and new spark plugs. The coil packs are still original and I plan to change them next spring. My V8V is a 2007 completely stock and has 24,700 miles. My reader does not give codes just what you see. The second fault say cylinder 12 which is strange sine have an 8 cylinder car. Are engine control module a coil pack? Any and all thoughts are welcome. Thanks.

You need to go to the next level which will show the specific P code(s). Could be one of many issues, such as a vacuum leak, o2 or MAF sensor, throttle body engagement, etc.
You may see the same set of codes under both 1 & 2. I use the NT530 for my 4.7 and have seen the same “cylinder 12” reference, and have assumed the indicated cylinder bank is what matters.

I have a P1000 code for both banks. Any idea what should I start with? I was planning new coil packs, air filters and cleaning the mass flow sensors. Any ideas would be helpful

My understanding is that P1000 indicates that your car has not completed a necessary drive cycle (System check not completed since last memory clear).

YES, a P1000 is on the Ford platform. It is usually set if you erased codes or even disconnected the battery. After all the drive cycles reset (can be done with some normal driving time in different conditions - stop/go and some steady state 45 mph) then the P1000 will change to P1111.

If you happen to need an emissions test done with many states that just use an OBDII hookup, you'll fail the emissions test with a P1000
