Hey all.
I was looking into adding carplay to my 15' V8V. The Aston Installations kit looks great, but that extra controller that's needed to navigate the menu's would be very annoying as my car is a manual and there is no good place to put it. I've found this online and it looks like it utilizes the factory ****. Has anyone tried it?

That looks promising. where does the unit goes? is it with the screen or plugin module?

 

I believe it's a module that plugs in to the center console area, but I can't confirm. It hijacks the CAN-bus from somewhere, so maybe the trunk?

 

I just emailed them, I'll update when/what I hear from them.
