Proud new owner a 2010 Rapide!

Hello everybody, I received today my new-to-me 2010 Rapide, and I am really excited! The sound and the feeling are just amazing
Sorry I haven't watched it yet...

I am having a couple issues and error messages I'd like to share with you, if anybody has an input:

- The window on the front passenger is not fully closing. I have tried to "train" the window but that didn't help.

- The window on the rear right passenger is not moving at all, so I can't open the door. Fried window motor?
- Message "Rear right seat is unlatched". I can unlatch and fold the rear left seat, but the rear right seat won't budge.
- Is it possible to update the software / GPS maps on this car?

- The headliner on the trunk is falling. Looks like the holding parts are broken. Any idea how to fix this easily?

- What would be the best OBD scanner for the Rapide?

Thank you for the help, guys!

I think you could have battery issues. The other possibilities include door control modules. I had to replace one this year. Since you just took ownership (congratulations), I would suggest bringing it by the dealer to introduce yourself and have them take a look at codes.

You'll want to buy a code reader for sure and the remote valve control for the exhaust. It will transform your car to the way it should be. Buy case of the correct Mobile1 motor oil while your at it. They're not thirsty cars, but you'll always want to have some on hand.

Thank you!
Is there a specific code reader you recommend?

I wanted to give the same advice about a dealer, but you did it first. Also, good tip about a code reader.

Some popular OBD scanner brands include Actron, Autel, BlueDriver, and OBDLink, pick one. Also, when choosing an OBD scanner, think about what type of data you want to retrieve from the scanner. Some scanners may be better suited for reading and clearing diagnostic trouble codes, while others may be able to retrieve more detailed information about your car's performance and systems.

All to all, it's up to you. Also, nice car, man.

I think I have a Foxwell too. An odd "Emission Service Required" error and check engine light comes on every month or two. That's the main thing I use it for is reset the light.

I got my right side windows and passenger door to function!
I could finally locate the proper fuse (what a pain to find a fuse layout for this model...) and then remove / reinstall, and it worked.
This community is awesome!
