"Washer Fluid Low" message after reservoir replacement

After a 2 year wait, I finally managed to get my hands on a new replacement washer fluid reservoir for my 2007 V8 Vantage. After installation though, while it works as expected and doesn't leak, I'm getting a message on startup about the fluid level being low. There are no codes related to this, and after using the washer the message goes away. Any thoughts on what might be up?

Assuming the message was on with the leaker for 2 years? Strange how it disappears when using it. Have you scrolled thru the messages with the read button to see if it still shows on that same key cycle? Myself I would try a hard reset. On the new bottle did it come with the pumps and level sensor? Or did you transfer over the old parts?

Actually, I never had that error when I had the leaking/empty washer fluid reservoir, which is strange. I had a new set of pumps installed at the same time as the new reservoir, so the only old part retained was the filler neck etc. It's a few days since the install now, and the message just flashes when I start the car and doesn't appear after that. I'll try topping it up again to see if that helps. Thanks.

The level sensor isn't integrated to the bottle, so that gets switched over. Also that sensor needs to be clocked correctly to function. Hopefully it's just a tad low as they can be difficult to fill.
