those are the mounts for those who've ordered the "defense package". the Vickers .30s go there.

I have my Redpants front license plate holder mounted on the bottom holes of the last photo (center of the grill).

Are the other 4 top holes just empty? Thanks!

I have the Velocity airbox delete so maybe the top photo screwed into the oem boxes?

The 4 upper holes are empty on my car. The OEM front plate mount sits a little higher, so it may use some of the other holes.

I’m good with the last photo as the 6 holes are for variations of license plate brackets.

Still puzzled about the first two pics as the bottom hole seems to want a bolt to go in there . I went through diagrams this morning and nothing clear. I am suspecting something to do with the oem airboxes.

Anyone have an oem setup who can see if there is a bolt in that bottom hole?

Just stepped out to look at my 09.
Right, left and the center holes are empty. The left and right sure look like something goes there.
Mine is fullly stock with no modification. Yet ...

Don't know about the end holes, but, as others have said center holes are for license plate brackets. Red arrows picture below.

I put bolts in mine and painted them black. You could also use the plastic plugs that are used to attach bumpers etc .
