Question Winter Wheel Alternates for DB11

The local dealer had mentioned there are no available winter tires in the OEM sizes for the DB11. Is there an slightly more common size tire that could fit or another AM set of wheels that could do the trick? I would need to drive the DB11 through the winter.

Hi @brightoncorgi ,

Are you needing an all season tire (I assume)?

I just put all season tires on my DB11 V12. I did this BC I do not track the car, only use it as a GT and, in Florida, I am more likely to be caught in a hydroplaning downpour than a street race of any kind (being funny as there is NO street racing with my cars). I did the same with my AMG GTS, used thes same all season tires as I just love them and have had such good success with them now on several cars.

For my DB11, I did have to change up both tire sizes. The two sizes I picked are perfectly balanced (front to rear) in terms of rolling circumference. In fact, they are zero variance and even better than the factory tires, so no fooling the safety features such as ABS or Active Handling. These are mounted on my factory wheels.

My goto tires are Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06+. To get these "near" the factory sizes I went with:

Front:
Factory - 255/40/20 to the DWS 06+ 275/40/20

Rear:
Factory - 295/35/20 to the DWS 06+ 315/40/20

This is a copy of the tire size chart I used for fit, especially to ensure the rolling circumferences weren't too far apart.
As you can see, both of these tires are the same Dia (circumference) = 0% difference. I've had them on my car for a month now...all is well.

A full winter tire. I currently use Blizzak's on the Rapide. This would be a 2nd set of wheels. Looks to be a similar situation on the Vantage with a lack of full winter tires available.

Perhaps the Vanquish is better suited for year round driving if I am unable to buy winter wheels?
