SmarTire TPMS default pressures
I’ve been reading the posts on the SmarTire system. It writes that the control unit is programmed by Aaron to know that the target pressures are 36psi front and 38psi rear.
Then you will be alerted to various conditions: Low, Very low, Temp, Changing pace, sensor and control unit failure.
What I do not read is whether the 36/38 values can be modified in the control unit.
Alternately does it read 36/38 or is it the difference meaning what if I ran 32/34? Would the system operate the same because it is a relative difference?
