Aston Martin DBX TPMS Cloning
Aston Martin DBX TPMS Cloning
I have a 2023 Aston Martin DBX 707, and there is no definitive information concerning aftermarket TPMS units for this model year. The online aftermarket TPMS vendors and eBay provide various HUF and Schrader sensor models.
Typically, I clone all my sensors, and some may recall my older post where I cloned the Smartire TPMS for the DB9. The Autel TS508WF claims to clone the DBX sensors; however, the setting does not read the sensors.
After four hours of trial and error - primarily focusing on Mercedes codes first - you can clone the DBX sensor using a "Rolls Royce Cullinan 2018-23 433 MHz Huf" setting. I later cross-referenced this to a HUF RDE077V21 sensor for those who don't have a TPMS cloning tool. Lastly, although the Autel DBX clone setting did not work, Autel does indicate that the 2018-21 DBX sensors are different from the 2022-24 DBX sensors. So, if you have an earlier DBX, the Rolls Royce setting may not apply.
I hope this helps DBX owners in the future.
