Cruise control not working

Cruise control not working
I had not tested the cruise control since purchasing 6 or so months ago. I figured I would give it a try, but the system seems totally unresponsive to the buttons.
Is there a fuse? module?
Any suggestions welcome, thanks in advance.

I presume you activated the cruise control with the button behind the other buttons first? A small "CRUISE" text will appear on the right display if I remember correctly.
Manual or automatic?
If manual, clutch pedal top of travel and brake switch will prohibit activation.

The "trials" of owning an Aston! LOL.
1) I bought our V8V 1400 miles from home, with two overnight stops. I think it was noon-ish on the second day before I figured out how to turn on the cruise control. Had it working the first day, I suppose just accidentally. Needed to get home ASAP, so didn't want to take time to stop and re-read the manual.
2) Drove it home, made one 200 mile loop and then put it away for fall/winter. As I was doing maintenance last month, I noticed the "Trip" button on the end of the turn signal stalk. I had forgotten about that switch! Nice to see the TPMS data, miles to empty, etc once again.
Another moment was just a few minutes into ownership when I turned on to a 45 mph street and realized that when an analog speedometer has to cover 0 to 200mph, it is pretty freaking useless around town.

Maby that's why the digital one was implemented.

It took me 2 months before I discovered the next/previous track buttons which work with CarPlay too.
I was watching a YouTube video and noticed some buttons on the back of the steering wheel. I though hmm. Do I have those? Well yes, yes I do. I actually really like where they are placed. Once you know you know.

I need to try that rocker with the memory stick. I've put several "B&O demo" songs on it. Only recently discovered pushing the music staff button helped navigate the songs & folders on the stick.

The buttons on the back of the steering wheel and the cruise control is exactly identical to the one in a 2002 Ford T-bird. In fact, many of the components on the dash are identical to the T-bird and Lincoln LS. My wife has a 2002 T-bird, and I have been amazed at the similarities in parts. The wheel base is identical to 0.1 inch.
