I was going to order a few cheaper things from redpants to test out but nothing in stock. No oil change kit, no cabin filters, no door struts... feels like the site/company is about to shut down.

I see 2 different series, BR & DS. Would you know the difference, kind of confusing? I see they can be ordered directly from BC.

It is unfortunate. I ordered quite a bit from him over the years, never had a problem. He did always have a lot of drama going on in his life though. If he is shutting down, he needs to be honest and publish it on the website, it's not right to take people money with no intention to fulfill. It's unethical not to mention illegal.

I went with BR series with swift springs. I'm really happy with the ride.

How much did you lower from stock? Do you know how many inches or mm the bottom of the front splitter is off the ground? My driveway is on an incline and the road is level, it's the only thing that worries me. I would like to lower is about an inch. I hate the stock clearance between the tires and bottom of the fenders, don't know why AM set up that way. I appreciate it.

I had VAP lowering springs before, my car was close to an inch lower with those from factory setup( I have sports pack suspension), I adjusted new coilovers to that height. Splitter to ground clearance is 4.5 inch

He appears to still be on FB as he responded to one of my posts there a few days ago

Rich responded this evening, finally, and he agreed to refund for the items not shipped. (We'll see if it shows on my CC...this was 5 min ago)
In my email to him, I told him that 'while I hope he is OK, I can no longer support his business.' This is unfortunate as I've bought quite a bit from him over the years and always found him to be a reliable supplier. He carried all the right stuff or us DIY'ers.
Something changed. It's unfortunate.

I can report that I did get a response from Rich on the BC Racing coilovers. Apparently they've having backlog issues, but at least Rich is responsive.

its really not cool if one of you got screwed and have to wait like this, for me its 0 business. a big no no. and i m not surprised many individuals nowdays playing around a bit like corporates but they failed often and have no business skills, affect even the brand down on the road...when this happenned i end up in court for my words usuually. these are traps sorry to say so.

I agree that it’s a real shame. Rich’s channel convinced me that Vantage ownership might be feasible — a bummer if he’s given up.

Just to throw in, I recently ordered a set of porterfield brake pads for my car (front and rear) and they arrived in a timely manner; no issues. I think the problem is ordering stuff that is not in stock.
